OP: Dumb idea that I read on the internet that I've already started but looking for affirmation/attaboys.

1st reply: what a ****ing dumb ***.

2nd reply (1st reply's friend): LOL

3rd reply: every body here is just so mean

buried on 1st page: I agree OP, I totally did that and it worked for me.

2nd page: More endorsements of dumb idea from people with alleged data.

Middle of 2nd page: rebuttal of alleged data with actual peer reviewed data.

3rd page: argument rejecting peer reviewed data but no presentation of real data by either side.

5-7th page: choosing sides.

8th and beyond: Victory is claimed by the side with dominant numbers and everybody leaves thread except for occasional laughs at the group that's wrong.
