Anyone else have 'fat days'?

I don't know if it is simply hormonal or emotional, but I have days when I just feel fat and frustrated, even though I know I'm working hard. On these days, it feels like what I am doing is not paying off, that progress isn't fast enough. It's kind of like bad hair days, only fat days. What's your experience with this?

I definitely feel this way from time to time, too. I treat it like I treat my anxiety and depression: one day at a time. For me, stuff like that comes in waves and normally passes within a day. I'm not saying to throw yourself a pity party, but allow yourself to feel the way you feel and try not to be too hard on yourself. I hope you have a better day tomorrow!0

I think that most people have days where they feel bad about themselves. Chin up, power through, and know that every healthy thing you eat (or don't eat) and every minute you exercise is worth it.0

Oh my gosh YES!!!!!!!!!! It happens all the time. Less now that I feel like I've gained some control back. Seeing my days in "black and white" helps, I think. I can see what I'm doing.
However, some days, when I put on a certain thing or jiggle during whatever workout...it's hard and I'm right back to feeling like Jabba the Hut's sister. Blah. Not fun. However, like missbis said, it's all one day at a time.
I've learned to put on sweatpants on those fat days and just ride it out. Good luck, and feel free to add me if you need anymore friends!0 -
Time of the month makes me feel like that as well.0

Yup. Even now that I'm so close to goal, I still have days where I get frustrated with myself for not getting here sooner or worrying that my success is temporary and I'm just going to gain it all back.0

I'm only 2.5lbs away from my BMI and I STILL feel this every now and then. Much less than I did 36lbs ago... When the results are good though, I have those skinny days that sort of cancel out those fat days. All of us on here still has to go through the mental/emotional changes in our bodies. I'm still not used to mine. I went to the mall w/ my mom yesterday and she was getting so mad at me because I still going for the baggier bigger sized clothes that didn't fit my body- not used to it yet. Anyway OP I bet you're rockin your bod ;D0

Every day since I started losing weight and eating right and exercising I just feel more and more disappointed with myself and lose more and more confidence. This is not fun!0

I have those! Especially during TOM. Or when I'm feeling bloated. It's not fun, but you have to push through it!0

I still have them...and they make me so sad, so I play up tempo songs and dance in the car on the way to work. It seems to make that awful feeling pass faster! Try it...people will look at you and you will start giggling, which makes you dance faster and faster, soon you are laughing and singing out loud and the "fat day" feeling is gone!
Just had one this morning...Monday blues I suppose! We totally have this!0 -
At least 2 a week, your not alone, do something fun to take your mind off it, it helps me0

I totally have these days. I'm not really sure why. I know I'm more likely to have them when I'm overtired and stressed, and it seems like nothing goes right. I find that they are fewer and farther between the more I stick to my fitness routine.0

I've lost all my weight under a previous profile and am now in maintenance...AND I still have fat days0
-
Seriously Fat days are normal. I have them all the time when ever i start eating and drinking the wrong foods. I hate those days because emotionally it makes me feel frustrated but I can appreciate those days because that keeps me in check. LIKE RIGHT NOW!!!
LOL :-)0
