MFP needs a like button haha !

No but in all seriousness ..

It is so often that i want to click 'like' on someones status, progress or food diaries.
Sometimes a comment isnt necessary, a simple acknowledgment would be more supportive or appreciated.

Install a LIKE BUTTON MFP :)

    If you cannot take a minute to put a bit of thought into a comment, is it really worth clicking a button? I'd MUCH prefer 3 thoughtful comments than 27 thumbs up.

    i can see your point junken.
    and definately agree MFP>facebook.
    but sometimes acknowledgement is all that is needed.
    do we need a comment on every diary check in ? or every status ?

    me personally. i have a very small MFP friends list. 14 i think. and i am very open and close with all of them.
    at the moment i am struggling intensely ... yet i am committed to being honest with my diary entries and keeping my friends/support team up to date with how i'm going.

    I know i would have preferred a like on some of my latest statuses, rather than a comment.
    just to know that they are there.

    and on the other hand. if your doing great all the time. constant comments lose their meaning :(
    a like every day and the occasional 'great job' comment would be more meaningful that great job everyday

    I agree gems93.
    I think some people are taking the mickey out of this post.
    but yes i think a like button or something along those lines would be a great option.

    And picture comments ! It would be great to be able to comment on my friend's progress pictures.

    yes i have thought about picture comments before too.
    progress pictures are the biggest inspiration and should definately be taken note of (have the option for commenting )!
