was considering trying this product and found so many mixed reviews online. was curious if anyone on here has tried it and if so what results/side effect did you experience?

Anal leakage = bad. No. Don't do it. Unless you think grease dripping out your behind is a good thing.0

Nothing like a little "mud butt" to tank the whole product. Reminds me of Olestra.0

Oh gosh, that review that JMC0806 suggested was SO TRUE! Yes, I tried it when it first came out, and I actually stuck to the fat gram recommendations, but it seriously did NOT matter. You get them "treatment effects" no matter what you eat. Stomachaches, gassy all the time, and yes, greasy stools and leakage. Sigh... what a waste of $$$0

Depends.
Not as in "it's diffrerent for each person" but as in Depends. You'll need some.0 -

I never tried the stuff, but OMG...that is one of the funniest things I've ever read: "“I dress like this to conceal the poop that's constantly soaking through the seat of my pants.” WHAT? :noway:0 -

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
I have a friend who worked in fashion PR in London and the toilets in their offices were apparently always in a disgusting state due to everyone taking Alli (think lumpy, greasy Nutella sprayed around the toilet bowls).
1. You will quite probably lose weight on Alli because you will be afraid to eat due to the side effects
2. Fat is not the enemy and can be incorporated into a healthy diet - just include it in your calorie count (I love a spoon of coconut oil in my coffee, olive oil on my salads, a handful of nuts as a snack etc etc)
I'd much rather eat the foods I want in moderation and not have unexpected bowel explosions! Calories in, calories out0 -
My old house mate took them, and she always had bad tummy and anal leakage, almost lost her job because she had to call in sick all the time. And it didn't matter what she ate, so in the end she ate what she wanted and just pooped it all out, some seriously disordered behavior there, no different to laxative abuse for her0

ok wow that is gross lol...think I will definitely save my money and not try it...thanks0

Ha ha - yeah, it's kinda offputting! Keep it simple - eat to your TDEE-20% and try to get some exercise in (you can change your calories settings on MFP, which often sets people at 1200 calories a day, which is really difficult and low for most people to stick to). Much easier to do it that way as you can eat normal food and just keep an eye on your calories (makes it tonnes easier if you have a family to cook for too).
The first post on this thread is really helpful: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/908271-when-is-1200-calories-appropriate-hint-almost-never0 -
A male friend of mine used it to lose weight. He pooped his pants if he wasn't very careful with what he ate. Gross.0
