I have some chicken breasts and pork chops.
I have some chicken breasts and pork chops in the refrigerator,
who's got an awesome healthyish recipe for either one to share...one that you actually tried, liked and have a link for?
easy to prepare also.
I also have some heavy cream, white wine, dijon mustard from a mustard cream sauce my wife made last week. Trying to cook more, don't want ingredients to go bad.
Thanks for the help.

Easy and excellent - sorry, no link - just the recipe
Spinach and Tomato Chicken
10 ounce bag of baby spinach
3 Tb chicken broth
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
salt and pepper
garlic powder
onion powder
italian seasoning
1 large tomato, cut into large chunks
5 green onions, chopped
1/3 C fresh parmesan cheese, grated (I used at least ¾ cup – try even more)
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place the spinach in the bottom of a 9 x 13 glass baking pan. Drizzle over the chicken broth and sprinkle the top with salt and pepper. Arrange the chicken over the spinach and season very well with the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and italian seasoning. Add the tomato and green onion then sprinkle on the parmesan cheese over the whole dish.
2. Take a piece of foil and loosely tent it over the top of the pan. Do not seal the edges of the foil to the pan. Bake for 15 minutes, remove the foil and continue to bake for another 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. Serve immediately, drizzling the pan juices over the top of each serving.0 -
Rub the pork with your favorite spices and brown it in a skillet. In a separate pan, sautee sliced apples, a bit of maple syrup, cinnamon, and pepper. Serve the apples over the pork and pair it with a dark green vegetable.
I use pork loin or turkey cutlets to keep the fat content low, and don't add to much syrup (the apples are plenty sweet). Also, you may need a small amount of oil in the bottom of the pan, but don't overdo it.

This lemon cream pasta with chicken is delicious! http://allrecipes.com/recipe/lemon-cream-pasta-with-chicken/detail.aspx It is VERY lemony though, so if you don't like that you can leave all of the lemon out and it is still delicious. That will use your chicken breasts and heavy cream.
Then, try this recipe for pork chops: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/modenese-pork-chops/ I have not tried this specific recipe, but it is very close to the way I normally make pork chops. It will also use your white wine. Mustard sauce goes very well with pork too. I'd suggest mashed potatoes and cabbage to round off the meal.0
