I downloaded my old Shakira "Laundry Service" CD to MP3 and will be sweating to that this afternoon.
  • Here are 2 pretty good drum and bass and drumstep playlists. I love most of these songs for my runs.

I'm also currently loving Band of Skulls, Mother Mother, The Zola's, Django Django, Vampire Weekend, Grimes, Sheepdogs and Black Keys have some good songs, as well as anything Jack White has been involved in (although I prefer Raconteurs).

Now time for a break in the chain...all the ones I'm seeing are from the same general pop-ish genre.

For me (hard rock and classic rock fan), here's the highlights of my workout mix:

    Airbourne - Overdrive
    Airbourne - Runnin' Wild
AC/DC - Flick of the Switch
    AC/DC - Thunderstruck
Theory of a Deadman - So Happy
Judas Priest - You've Got Another Thing Comin'
    John Tesh - Roundball Rock
Spirit - I've Got a Line on You
    Led Zeppelin - Gallows Pole
Tom Petty - I Should Have Known It (especially the last 1:30)

Awesome songs!! i thought i was the only Airbourne fan....to me, Runnin' Wild is just one of those songs that is hard rock at its purest. I heard the song by accident when i stumbled on someone's myspace a few years ago and i was instantly hooked! Definitely gets me going on the elliptical...lol

I think half my playlist is songs from their Runnin' Wild or No Guts. No Glory. albums. Can't wait for their new one to drop in May (http://www.stereoboard.com/content/view/177224/9)

I've been writing a playlist blog on here- it's generally alternative/leftfield rock and pop stuff that you wouldn't hear on the radio.
