    Not having a great great day. I mainly try to just stick to not going over my limit every day, and I went over by 30 calories today which is not a big deal I know. But I went over those calories by eating a stupid Boston Creme donut this morning which has left me hungry and cranky all day since I felt I needed to compensate and didn't eat my normal filling food the rest of the day. I know better. 300 pointless calories for a stupid donut that didn't even taste that great. Now, I am craving a glass of wine very very badly. Fortunately, I don't have any in the house. I will probably crawl off to bed early tonight.

    This makes me really want bacon and also to take a bath in acid....maybe poke my eyes out with hot fire pokers

    I spent roughly four hours making French Onion Soup from scratch. Caramelizing the onions for two and a half hours, then adding the broth and spices and letting it simmer for a half hour, then pouring it into a bowl and topping it with bread and cheese and popping it in the broiler... it was nice, but... I'm not sure it was worth it in the end. It pretty much ate up my whole day. Also it was too sweet because my dumb *kitten* bought sweet onions instead of regular ones.

    I'm really full now, though, so I guess that's a plus. Time to go take a walk in the snow.
