Sabbret Hot dog?

My mom REALLY needs to go food shopping so we don't have any fish/lean meats that I could have for dinner other than Honey deli turkey that I don't really like. If I have one hot dog for dinner, with no bun, with some sugar snap peas on the side, and it fits into my daily calories, is it ok? By the way it's a kosher hot dog, meaning all beef.

Pretty much anything that fits is ok.
  • if you like hot dogs and count calories, try these out:
Ballpark - Smoked White Turkey Franks (Bun Sized)
They taste great and only 45 calories.

Rather than skip bun, why not buy whole wheat buns
Bread - Hot Dog Buns 100% Whole Wheat Nature's Own
only 110 calories and all whole grain and fiber

With mustard (no ketchup) and onions, its truly a "guilt free" hot dog.

The original poster is trying to make due with what they already have at home because they are going to be eating dinner before grocery shopping is able to be done. ;)

calories are calories, so if that's all you have and you are within your calorie limit go for it. a weiner once in a while is a nice treat!

Really? You're asking permission to eat a hotdog? And not only asking permission to eat a stupid hotdog, but you've developed bunless, kosher excuses as to why we should grant you the permission??

If it fits then why not? Eat what you have to so you don't buy the bad stuff while you shop :)

Health and fitness is a long haul effort.
Some days you cant possibly eat what you really want.

You always have portion control though.

There's never a good reason not to eat hot dogs.
