Realizing, getting fit is more than physical...

Today I am having a *kitten* day, and I am about to circuit train. Hopefully it 'll make me feel a bit better. I was just thinking, if I want to seriously be healthy I have to work (this'll sound tacky) on my mind and spirit too. Lately Iberia just been at the end of my rope and it's time to find some Zen. I am going to workout, clean my apartment and do something I love but haven't done in months: read a f*cking book. I guess this whole weight loss involves more than pounds.

You're telling me. That's why I gained most of the 115 lbs I lost, back within 10 months. Cause I wasn't mentally prepared. I'm still not, but working on both mind and body simultaneously is helping me to keep pushing forward and keep making healthy choices. It's hard, but if you are really struggling, a counsellor may be able to help. I go to my counsellor once a week - no shame, I just want to be the best possible version of myself, like we all do.

Losing weight and getting in shape isn't just a series of diets and workouts. It's a life changing decision and a life long total commitment. The best way to be successful is to go "all in." Heart, mind, body, soul, everything! Maintaining is just as key as losing.

Just take it one day at a time. Overwise it gets overwhelming thinking too far ahead.

Yeah, I've also noticed that since I'm eating better and getting a lot more energy, that I'm more focused on my studies and am doing less procrastination.
