Hi

I've previously lost about 4-5 Stone from just eating healthy and excercising 3 times a week but have kind of hit a plateau for awhile now where i'm not gaining or losing weight, so was wondering if any men (or women) have had success with the 30 Day Shred?

I couldn't really find anything on here to suggest how well men had done on it!

I'm 22 and around the 240 mark.

Thanks!

i'm not a guy, so i can't offer the exact support you're looking for, but i can say that from what i've read (and sort of experienced so far - i just finished day 12 of the shred today) is that you lose more inches than actual weight numbers while doing the shred. i definitely recommend it, because the inches off make your body look that much better, it's not always about the scale, but i know you're looking for something to help lose more weight specifically, so i thought i'd let you know what i've found.

I love love love Jillian Michaels work outs! They get your heart rate up and keep it up. I gives you a definite sweat. The dvd is aimed for people who are close to their goal weight but are just working on the last few vanity pounds from what I've heard, however, she does offer different levels of activity in the DVD. I say go for it. Any time you can change up a routine and do something new go for it! I have recently started using her app for the iphone, ipad, iPod and it is great because it sets up a daily routine at the gym and alters it as you go down the path and get stronger. She believes in balance in working out and nutritionally. She is much more sensible than a lot of those no carb, super high protein, fad diets that don't help you much in the long run. I believe the DVD also comes with some meal plans so if you are looking for some new ideas there that is also beneficial. And I don't think it matters whether you are a boy or a girl the work out suits both! My fiancé did it with me for a while and he had a harder time than I did hahaha it was highly entertaining to say the least.
