Haven't officially "given up" anything, but there is a lot of stuff I just don't eat anymore, or only eat very rarely. NOTHING is forbidden in my world, food wise. I just try to be smart about it. (Yea, I could eat that if I wanted to... I just don't want to).

Sitting on my azz and doing nothing. Yeah, I don't miss it.

Oh, you mean food! I haven't given up anything.

I hadnt gone to Olive Garden in 3 years, went a couple weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised by their healthy options available. Breadsticks are still the devil though!

I gave up Sodas two years ago. I missed them at first. Then, I would have one every 3-4 months, but now I honestly can say, I don't like them.

Weird, I know. Your tastes change I guess.

There are probably OTHER things I should give up (um, chocolate, bacon, cheetos.... to name a few), but don't and just enjoy in moderation. :P

Pasta and bread. I could live off either one!! I still have them on occasion, but it's more of a treat and not a regular part of my diet anymore.

I gave up Chorizo hash for lent. To make sure I'm actually giving something up I've gone to the restaurant that serves it a few times and ordered something else. It's hard because it's so fricken yummy and I want it. It's been good because I've at least tried a few other things.

As far as what I've given up during my efforts to get fit...

I no longer put potato chips inside my tuna fish sandwiches. Everything else I have in moderation or I add extra workout time to make sure the whatever doesn't wreck my efforts. Oh, and the two times I had five guys in the last 14 months I got a single patty burger instead of the double patty burger. Still cheese and bacon and grilled onions but only the one patty.

    Good microbrewed beer and bourbon.

    *weeping silently*

I haven't given up anything. There are some things I have less of, but I still find ways to enjoy them. Because I enjoy them.

Grilled cheese and homemade quesadillas, which I used to eat almost every day for lunch.... cheese is just so high in calories! I still have cheese when I really want it, but having meals of mostly cheese/bread just isn't doable for me anymore.

I've also given up lemonade and almost all liquid calories, but I was never a big soda drinker anyway. :)

I haven't given up any particular food or food group. I've given up eating huge portions of food. Everything in moderation!

I didn't really give up anything. But I'm way more sensible about what I eat as far as portions.
I eat mostly veggies for lunch in order to allow myself whatever for dinner.

I've cut way back on wine and beer but could never break up with it permanently. We get along way too well.
