Hey guys, just wondering if anybody here does Cassey Ho's POP pilates videos?
They've interested me heaps, she seems fun!
Just wanted to know if you've had great results, any photos or favourite videos you could recommend? :)
Thanks!

    Fellow POPster checkin' in. I love her and she's managed to help me trim down a couple of jean sizes, even if I haven't lost a pound in the last few weeks. I started out with her beginner's workout a few months ago. Now alternating that and her beginner's ab workout. It's a hell of a workout! I <3 her stuff so much.

    I tried her beginners pop pilates but found that too hard for me !

    the leg circles one - this hurts my calves more than my butt & thighs, any ideas why? Tips?

    Also the exercise where you have to have you legs straight up in the air, I cannot hold my legs straight, always have to bend at the knee...again any tips etc??

    Not so much tips as just take it slowly. Take as many rests as you need. When I started I could hardly do three roll up crunches. Now I can do those all day. It just takes time. Took me a month of doing that workout everyday before I could comfortably get through it.

    The leg exercises are still hard for me, even a few months in. I just lay my leg down as many times as I need. Maybe, for your calves, giving your knee a slight bend, or instead of pointing your toes, you could just put your foot flat out, toes turned to the side.

    And for the leg straight - you will develop more flexibility as time goes on. I STILL cannot pull my legs straight up the way she does. But I have gotten more range of motion. Just do what you can and don't worry about not copying her exactly - she's got years of doing this on us. We're beginners. :laugh: That's okay.

    I'm about to start doing them after ripped in 30! I did a few of her exercises today, just as a filler-in for not working out! I've also done a couple of her abs workouts (4 videos in a row) and I was SORE the next day, and NOTHING does that for me!

    Can I ask a question? Is this a floor puilates or do you use a reformer machine for this? I have a reformer machine but am on the lookout for new dvd's as mine is getting boring. TIA

    I LOVE Cassey! The fact that she does the whole workout with you and talks the whole way through it really distracts me from the fact that I'm basically dying.. I really like;

    Lol, I feel the same way about Rachel Ray (she's a cook on Food Tv). So perky that I just want to smash her in the face. :laugh:

    It's a floor based routine, though she does have a few HIT ones and standing ones mixed in there.

    Keeping your core engaged will help you with keeping your legs in the air and will work your lower abdominals. This is also important so you don't strain your back during many of her exercises. Win win!

    At first I only felt it in my calves, but as I got more advanced I started to feel each exercise where I was suppose to.
