How many calories do you take in daily at MAINTENANCE. I am 5'3" and 115 lbs. I take in about 1800 to 2000 calories a day including exercise calories.
I really want to take in more so I am upping my strength training and not just doing cardio anymore!
What about you?

Maintenance is where so many fail. They key is LIFESTYLE. My suggestion is to up your calories a bit and stay active... Monitor the scale/clothes fit and if you don't like what you see, adjust a little bit. Set new goals of perhaps lifting heavier, etc. By doing so, you keep a goal ahead of you (like you did when you were losing weight) and always have something to strive toward. Best wishes on finding your "sweet spot".. that careful balance. You don't want to be deprived.. that is not sustainable... Neither do you want to throw caution to the wind and lose focus. Sounds like you have a good plan... just continue to monitor. Do realize though that with strength training, you may see the scale move upward a bit but your clothing fit loser or maintained... In that case... you should not worry about the scale. Best wishes.0

I've been on maintenance since January, but I wouldn't say I have it completely figured out yet.
I'm 5'5" and 116 lbs. I was originally going by what MFP had set for me, which was about 1640 and then adding in exercise. I was exercising 4-5 times/week, and on those days, my calories were usually at ~1800-1900. My exercise had been primarily cardio. I found I was still losing a tiny bit of weight and didn't want to (my goal weight was 120, so I lost 4 more lbs with the MFP maintenance).
About a month or so ago, I decided to get going with strength training, and a couple weeks ago, I switched to using my TDEE because I'm now exercising 6 days a week (3 strength, 3 cardio). My TDEE is at 1950. I'm not yet sure if it's the method I'll stick with though (or at least if it's the right number). I definitely love doing the strength (originally thought I would hate it); it's giving me definition where the cardio never did. Just hoping the weight will fully stabilize now so I can be done trying different methods.0 -
