Silly things we believed as kids

I use to think the world and the people were in black and white (thanks to Nick at Nite)

I also use to believe someone shut the water off to Niagara Falls at night and turned it back on in the morning.

What are some of the funny things you believed as a kid?

    Peanut butter is green.

    To me it is...I am colorblind (deficient), always thought it was, and still looks that way to me, until someone kindly told me it isn't.
