What mall food used to stop you in your tracks?!?

Today when we went to the mall I passed by that evil American Cookie Company and by evil I mean downright delicious. I looked at my old favorite the frosted cookie cake triangle and said "so delicious and so not worth it." Oh the good ole fat days have been replaced by the healthy smoothie days.

Cinnabon! Nothing like blazing up in the parking lot and crushing a cinnamon roll.

Oh crap, I totally forgot. I was thinking of a different mall when I first answered. (They had Topsy's for cookies, which can't compare to American Cookie Company!)

Those big, fat, salty pretzels. That, and MSG-laden Chinese food.

    Great Steak and Potato company.

Cheesesteak and steak fries. Couldn't resist.

Then a Cinnabon if I had a little extra cash.

Samosas. Nice, huge, deep-fried samosas. I'd probably still find a way to make them fit if I had any idea how many calories those bad boys were. Thankfully, I do not.

If I need to feel like I've had a treat at the mall, I go to Purdy's chocolates and buy one of those super rich, super expensive, super tiny fancy chocolates. That, plus a coffee and I feel like I've had a heavenly decadent treat but all told I'm probably only in for about 125 calories. Suits me just fine!

    Used to?!

Cinnabon, greasy chinese food, orange julius, and krispy kreme.

    But Cinnabon is/was first place.

Mall chinese - nothing like battered mystery meat (really, no difference betwen their pork/chicken/beef) slathered in a disturbingly unnatural red or orange sauce and a mountain of fried rice.

I think I can feel the slimey coating in the back of my throat that was left over for days....

Wash it down with an orange-banana juilus and then quickly shop before my insides turned to stone and left me in the fetal position crying out in pain which only a 1L tub of chocolate chip cookie dough would surely cure.

Honestly, if I had a mall day, I would have to have a Subway turkey sub & a soft garlic pretzel with donair sauce.
