I started my new "life" in February of this year. I have lost 24 lbs, lost one size in pants, have more energy and just feel better. But today I achieved one of my MAJOR goals: lower my cholesteral. In January it was 224, today it is 159!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be able to stop my cholesteral medicine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I figure in about 20 lbs I will be able to stop my blood pressure medicine. This is just so awesome. But I have to say, reading everyones posts and accomplishments have inspired me to continue my quest for a better life. Please everyone, continue to write about your major and minor goals met because it inspires others.

That is super! Thanks for sharing YOUR inspirational accompishment! I know you feel great. The best thing about losing the weight is not just getting back to that particular size in clothes but to feel better and to have much better health. I hate feeling winded when I walk up a flight of steps just as much as I hate intermittent raises in my blood pressure from time to time - that was the turning point for me and you've reminded me that it means to be committed to better eating habits! I wish you much continued success to your better health!

Great job!!! What a wonderful reminder that this is not only about feeling better about our bodies and looking on the outside like want....but this is so we can live longer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives. The second part is for our family, friends, kids, spouses and all the people who love us and want to see us around for as long as possible.
