Gym memberships in the UK ( Liverpool )

I'm really struggling to find a cheap membership in liverpool for gym. I live in the wavertree/toxteth area and that lifestyles one is WAY to expensive in the long run ( im unemployed )
Is there any in the area or anything I could do in house? ( like cheap dvd or something? ) for simple weightloss.

    I've been a member at the Ben Dunne Gym on Wavertree Tech Park for about 6 months or so now. It's a decent gym but doesn't have a pool if you're a swimmer. My membership was £110 for the year which is super cheap for a gym really! Other than that you could try and pool a bit of money and spring for some decent tension bands (weights are boss but they do tend to take up a lot of space!).

    You could try the insanity workout or the 30 day shred (this one is available on youtube). They're both very good. Alternatively, you could try running. I find this to be very helpful for me. I usually run close to liverpool uni and the city centre. Good luck. xx
