Monday/Wednesday/Friday are weight days for me using Cybex machines followed by 35 minutes cardio. Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday are cardio only. Question is, if I do the elliptical (with arm handles) or a rower on the non-weight days, is that preventing recovery from the weights? Thanks.

Depends on how much resistance you apply or set the machine to. Generally speaking I would say no, it should affect your recovery.

Sorry, autocorrect was wrong, I meant shouldn't affect your recovery :-)

    ^^^ what georgina said

light to moderate cardio will not affect your recovery from weight training. Just be careful not to have too much resistance. For cardio on rest days, aim to train your heart and lungs

Thanks. The main issue in my mind was the resistance on the arms. I'll keep that part light.
