I just took my first ever Zumba class and it was tons of fun. I couldn't find it in the database to log it, just curious how does everyone log Zumba?

  • There is a calorie counting website that asks your wieght, fitness level, time of workout and a few other things...you plug in the infoand it will generate the calories burned. Googl.e zumba calories burned
  • Thanks I will check it out.

I wear my heart rate monitor when i go so i can track the number of calories i burn, then i track it on MFP as dancing (general) and just change the number of calories to the number i burned.
  • I'm thinking a heart rate monitor is the way to go. I need to look into buying one.

I checked one of the websites where you put in your weight and the turnout was very close to "Aerobics, high impact" so I just use that.

I use dancing, general. And if class is an hour, I only log 45 minutes.

Yeah get an HRM. Also MFP let's you add an excersise if it's not one already listed.

I used this link, it's more accurate because it's based on your weight:
