I don't know about a "best" meal per se. But defiantely keep in low in sodium so you don't have extra water weight for the weigh in.0

thank you!
i didnt know that0 -
Try to eat less than 2400mg of sodium per day and you shouldn't have water weight issues regarding sodium. Also, alcohol gets burned first before body fat so don't drink alcohol. :happy:0

Agree with the low sodium, drink lots of water, low to no carbs and try not to eat too late (after 8 or 9pm), add in a last chance workout if you have the time.0

Think my sodium is about 300 for today so far.
Ahh soo little carbs, better to have protein?
I dont eat past 7pm so thats fine.
Thank you!0 -
I suggest eating low sodium meals for at least two days before your weigh-in. If you're going to splurge on something with a lot of sodium or calories or fat, do that early in the week. Also, weigh in before breakfast. Your weight will fluctuate after meals.0

Not to be too much of a cynic or anything, but unless there is a wager involved (bet, competition, etc), I would advise to eat as you normally would. This would ensure, in my opinion, a more accurate representation of your progress. Although I do agree with drinking the recommended 6-8 glasses of water.0

What is good for you is good for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. What is bad for you is bad for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Don't get caught up in the "X is good in the morning but Y is better in the evening". 99.5% of your achievements will be made through eating healthy and keeping your calories under control regardless of time of day. When you are training to be an elite athlete, then you can worry about the last 0.5% of "Eat this in the morning and that in the evening".0
