What to wear, help please!?

So on Saturday I am going to see my friend for a few drinks for her birthday, and then (if you had seen my previous post, you'll know I was torn with something but decided my ex is an ex for a reason and there's no looking back) going to see an old friend for drinks.

Since it's not an actual 'date' date and just birthday drinks, I need help with what to wear. When I'm not around my son I love dresses and skirts - but it's not practical to chase a 2 year old around in them!

I have a few options to chose from, but I'm not sure which - any help appreciated!

This dress -

This dress (either one like this, or slightly more lower cut and round necked) -

Both with black tights.

Or either of these skirts with either a 3/4 length scooped neck white top or just a normal white t-shirt.

Depending on which it will either be mid-heeled black ankle boots or tan coloured ankle wedged heeled boots.

    Thank you :) I hadn't been for drinks with friends with ages and this all seems like such unfamiliar territory again.

    Thank you everyone.

    I think I might do the red dress yeah, with the polka dot skirt as a back up :)
