where do you get workout ideas?
currently i do
40 minutes of elliptical/stationary bike 3 times a week
30 minutes weight training of some sort (squats, arms) 4 times a week
casually ride my bike around hilly SF 1-2 times a week for about 30 - 40 minutes
will it really not help my weight loss anymore if i don't change this?

Yes, the calories burned will continue to decrease as your body adapts to the exercise that you do. Also the calories burned with decrease as your weight decreases.0

As you get fitter, it's true that you will burn fewer calories...BUT, at that point you might find that you can increase the resistance on the elliptical, increase your weights, and maybe cycle a bit further.
Switching it up is good from the point of view of preventing boredom, but any exercise is good, as long as you can sustain the routine. My first 35 odd lbs were lost simply walking.0
