Quick question!

I have been eating at tdee - 15% and it's been working brilliantly. I worked my numbers out on scooby and set myself as lightly active as i am a teacher and have a toddler, but i hadn't been doing proper exercise. But as I said the numbers were right as i was losing a pound a week.
I have now started doing a few body weight exercises, nerdfitness beginners routine.
Do I need to change my numbers in any way? I don't feel I am at moderate activity level so am thinking I will just keep everything the same but i am scared of rocking the boat! It is all going so well!

My opinion would be to keep it the same awhile longer. Once you've been doing some bodyweight exercises for a month or so (and maybe move into some lightweight dumbbells), then maybe increase your protein macros a bit (5%), and reduce the carbs a little bit (5%), but still keeping your calories the same.0

This! Good advice for sure and good luck to the OP---strength training will really change your life!0 -
Thank you very much, i will keep things the same. I am excited about it but really trying to change my mindset from thinking about the scale all the time!0

I would keep your calories the same. Plenty o time to start adding calories for it when you hit a point you are doing something like, doing the routine with a backpack with 15-20 lbs of books in it, which I can tell you emphatically eventually that will be completely possible0

Thanks, yes hopefully that will be the case! I will be looking for ways to make the routine harder, I'll know who to ask! Glad I discovered you as a friend!0

No problem, glad to have been found. Just know it gets highly addictive Hubby would get so mad when he was trying to do his homework and I had his backpack and all his textbooks0 -
