Isagenix & Breakouts?

Hi everyone! I've been using Isagenix since right before Thanksgiving of last year. I was always doing the less intense packages, such as the Healthy Lifestyle Pak, and just did the cleanse, ionix, and a shake in the morning. I really like how the products make me feel, except I've had terrible acne issues since around the same time I started using Isagenix.
So I'm wondering, has anyone else experienced this or known someone who has had breakout issues on Isagenix? I'm not sure it's even from it, but it started around the same time I started these products. I'm just trying to figure out what it's from so I can fix it-- I"m getting married in 5 months and don't exactly want to look like a pimply teenager on my big day!

    Why don't you try not taking it for a while to see if your skin clears up?

    I don't know anything about Isagenix. I do want to suggest though that you go to the doctor for your acne. I switched birth control recently and was having an awful series of breakouts. It was really starting to depress me because I'm 28 and supposed to be done with that. I finally saw the doctor and he gave me some antibiotic cream that cleared it right up. I wish I'd gone sooner. (he also switched my bc which will hopefully help long-term).

    Acne can have a lot of different causes. Your doctor will help you figure out what the problem is.

    And I agree that if you feel like it could be the isagenix just stop using it for awhile and see what happens.

    I do take birth control- the kind that lessens each week until your placebo week. That's my other theory... but I've been taking it for just about three years now and haven't had these problems until recently. The only reason I'm considering that, too, is because I notice it always gets worse between the second and third week per cycle... so it might be hormone related. I'm going to go in to the doctor at the end of the month for my yearly check up, I'll talk to her then.
    It's really kind of depressing. I tried Proactiv and it cleared my skin up really well... until I broke out in an allergic reaction to benzyl peroxide =P

    The antibiotic I got has benzyl peroxide too so make sure you tell your doc you're sensitive to it.

    I was on bc for 10 years with no issues. I went off of it for 6 months and when I started it back up my skin went nuts. :( Hope you get it figured out!

    Hi!
    I know this is an old post but I just started Isagenix this week, today is day 5, and my face is breaking out. Can you tell me what happened with you? Otherwise I'm happy on the diet but obviously this doesn't make me happy.

    It helped me lose weight but caused terrible breakouts and cystic acne. I had to go on antibiotics and stop using it.

    It's because of the whey which makes some people break out.

    I have been using Isagenix shakes etc for 3 weeks now and have had breakouts as well. Not very pleasant to deal with that everyday. I have been wondering if it caused it and did a search on google to discover it. I guess I have my answer!! Thanks for posting it!
