I like to listen to heavy metal. If you don't mind vulgarity in the language and I mean really vulgar, I suggest Steel Panther. If not Jay-Z gets me pumped (blue print 2, 99 problems, DOA) and LL Cool J's Mama said Knock You Out.

Love LL cool J. I was just watching this video on youTube.

    Over and over and over....

someone on here suggested Rockmyrun.com. I've only downloaded one 30 min mix and it was pop/hip hop/classic rock/Neil Diamond/80's............and it worked. I love all kinds of music so this was perfect for me. You can select what kinds of music you want.

I really like podrunner. These days though I just listen to Pandora on my smartphone with some good earbuds.

I think my favorite workout tune is "Toxic" by Brittany Spears.

I can't live without music, but I exercise in silence. XD I may be totally weird, but I do some of my best thinking when I'm working out.

I was just being cheeky with my comment because I doubt she wants hardcore rap lol but....

araabMUZIK is a good artist.... he makes instrumental dancey-rap beats.

ACDC, Van H, Deff, BOC, or any rock music will get me going. I prefer classic rock of course but something like that helps me.

"Backtrack" by Rebecca Ferguson and "I Need a Dollar" by Aloe Blacc. I tend to jog in time to these songs whenever I hear them... which draws strange looks from my wife and daughter.

    Adagio for Strings....DJ Tiesto....

    YES! Love love love Tiesto!

On a more mainstream note: "Some Nights" by fun and Sea Wolf's "Middle Distance Runner" have both managed to make their way onto my playlist.
