calories burnt through exercise

HI EVERYONE,,2ND WEEK IN NOW,REALLY ENJOYING IT,JUST HEADING FOR MY WEEKLY WEIGH IN,(FINGERS CROSSED),DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW ACCURATE THE CALORIES BURNT THROUGH EXERCISE IS,IF I DO A 1HR MUAY THAI CLASS IS GIVES ME BACK 1200 CALS!!! WHICH IS GREAT,BUT IS IT RIGHT,ALSO IT DOESNT SEEM TO GIVE ME ANY CALS BURNT THROUGH WEIGHT TRAINING,UNLESS IM DOING SOMETHING WRONG,,

    The calories burnt on MFP are bases on averages and I find them too high for me personally. If you have the money invest in a heart rate monitor

    ok thanks, yeah they do seem a little high to me. defo gunna look out for a heart rate monitor,if i can keep dropping 4 pounds a week,ill be happy,
