I go to the gym the next day and smash PR's from all the food energy.

Seriously I would consider seeking some help if you're having excessive guilt related issues from food. That can go in a bad direction in a hurry.

Log your food, and move on.
There is no need to start a new account every time you make a choice you feel isn't perfect.

I would agree on log it and move on. Tomorrow is a new day. Maybe work out a little longer tomorrow if you are feeling that guilty.

I agree. Keep moving and burn it off.
  • Tell myself that tomorrow is another day, and to make up for it through exercise. That does the trick for me.......

Why do you feel guilty? Who are you eating for? You ate it, you enjoyed it, you walk or exercise it off tomorrow. Last weekend I ate like a horse, out for lunch, out for dinner, bit too much wine. Thoroughly enjoyed it then walked it off during the week. Not a jot of guilt.

first. don't be to hard on yourself. you're one meal away from a fresh start.

second. water water water. get a gallon. drink the whole thing (not all at once)

third. figure out why it happened. was it an emotional thing? try to get to the root of it...take a walk and have some tea next time you're feeling that way, or read a book, leave the room, scream in your pillow, dance to some loud music, brush your teeth, call a friend or family member or do the dishes. break the cycle.

    hang in there.

    Seriously.

You eat. You move a little faster and a little harder. Nothing to make a big deal out of.
  • In the event that I do binge--I TRY MY BEST to just forget about it and eat normally the next day. I go to the gym--might tack on a few extra miles but overall not much changes.
