You do have time to make meals. Everyone does most of the time. That sounds like an excuse to eat junk, like the candy you mentioned.
I sometimes have worked as many as 12 days in a row, I have a wife, a small child and I work out six days a week and I find the time.
Eating 1 or 2 times a day is not good. Eat three times a day (healthy food) with snacks in between (again, healthy food).
If you have P90X, then you should also have the nutrition guide. It is full of great recipes. Try some. The tuna salad literally takes 10-15 minutes to make three servings.
Make your meals for work in advance and then refrigerate or freeze them until needed.

If you eat good food, you won’t have to worry so much about counting calories.
If you do find that time is an issue sometimes, Shakeology can help.

There are options other than eating poorly.
Sorry if I sound harsh, but I think you need a wakeup call. Stop making excuses and take charge!!! You can do it!!!!!!!

Take your day off and spend an hour in the kitchen prepping food for the week. Like Tacguy said, use the nutritional guide, there is awesome stuff there. Your eating really makes or breaks P90X. Shakeology really does help.

If you are only eating a couple times a day and that's eat, your body could very well be in starvation mode. That's just isn't enough to keep it going and burn fat. What helped me is actually setting a timer for every three hours and making myself eat. I make sure each of my meals is about 300-350 calories, and each snack is about 200-250. You would probably need a little higher to start off, especially with P90X. If you just have all the snacks prepacked and ready to go, you shouldn't have a problem.

It's hard, I know. But you can do it! It will take take, but it will be so worth it!

Make an account. Set your goal. Enter what you eat in the 'food' tab and your diary

. That's pretty much all you have to do to count calories. If it's food ideas that you lack, just look at people diaries (in their profile) to get an idea of what they eat.

Someone here said that eating one or two times a day is not good. This is completely false.

Studies show that as long as you are getting the same number of calories, you could be eating one huge meal a day or ten tiny meals per day, and it wouldn't matter.

Eat at whatever times you feel comfortable with and simply stay within your allotted calories.

I calculated your numbers and came up with about 2000 calories per day for weight loss. Don't even worry too much about what you are eating at first. Just try to stay around 2000 calories per day, and you will lose weight.

^^^ This plus I would add that if you are that strapped for time, forget the workout and cook some food to take to work with you. Weight loss happens in the kitchen, work on that first. Once you have a good handle on that start your workouts.

Log what you're eating...and make good choices. Where you would have grabbed some candy, have some fruit or a piece of cheese or a snackpack with some carrots and nuts. This doesn't have to be complicated. Small changes, consistancy, being honest with yourself in your logging. You CAN do this...one meal one snack one day at a time.
