I'm confused here what is TDEE? Help me out MFP buddies

Total daily energy expenditure:
it means how much energy you use in a day (how many cals you are burning each day).
This measure is best estimated by scaling your Basal Metabolic Rate (how many calories you'd need were you to be put in a coma and for you to merely 'survive') to your level of activity. TDEE is critical in tailoring your nutrition plan to desired fitness goals.
