Body fat percentage rising?

When I weighed Thursday, my fat body percentage was 19%. When I got on the scale this morning it said I had gained .4 of a pound but now I'm up to 20% body fat.

Is that possible? I know I didn't eat the cleanest this weekend but a whole percentage?! It's not like I gained a pound. It just botheres me because lately I've been doing more ab/stomach workouts and I thought I would be building muscle (aka getting rid of fat!) not making it increase!

I weighed 118 at 19% now I weight 118.4 and its 20%

Scales are very inaccurate for BF calculation. Don't worry about it.
  • yea scales deff arent the best thing to use to measure BF, go have it checked professionally

When using the body fat scales your hydration level is critical. I'd recommend weighing yourself at the same time each week, at a time when you have had plenty to drink. I would weigh yourself once a week... Any more than that and the day to day variations will drive you crazy.
