I was wondering if any of you guys and girls had had that one moment when you thought why in the h$ll am I doing this to myself and were willing to share it with us? Mine was when I was about one month into the whole fitness routine. That morning I got on the scales and had lost a whole whopping 3 lbs for a month's effort. I went downstairs and did my warm up routine and climbed on the treadmill with a real bad attitude. I was grumbling the whole way and on my last lap which I usually set to an incline of 10 and a speed of 3.6 which makes me hurt and I had sweat just pouring off of me and probably said some not very nice words along with out loud why in the h$ll am I doing this to myself and I should just quit while I'm ahead. My 3 year old girl comes out of the living room and runs up to the treadmill and I'm thinking great now I've scared the baby, this day just keeps getting better! She looks at me very intently for a couple of seconds and then *kitten* her head to one side and says, "Momma you are so beautiful!" I want ya'll to know I flew up that mountain like I was a gold medalist and I have never looked back! So if you're at a point to where you're asking yourself why in the h$ll you're doing this to yourself, it's because you're beautiful and don't ever, ever let yourself forget it. I wish all of you the best and I know you can do this!

Sometimes all it takes are some sweet words to get the motivation going.
3lbs in a month is not bad at all. I am lucky if I lose 2lbs in a month. According to your ticker, it doesn't seem like you have much to lose! Keep it up.0 -

When I was at my heaviest and didn’t exercise regularly, I joined Team in Training and trained to walk a half marathon at the same time as I was raising $2200 for the cause. I don’t think I slept well for months worrying about raising enough money and being swept off the course for being too slow. When I crossed the finish line after raising enough money to be a little bit over my goal, I felt really strong for the first time in my adult life, physically and emotionally. It has made a huge difference in my life.0
