No one put Beauty and the Beast, the ONLY animated movie to be nominated for a Best Picture Oscar, and the ONLY animated movie to win the Golden Globe for Best Picture (Musical or Comedy) at the top of their list. That is a travesty.

    1. Beauty and the Beast
    2. Lion King
    3. Aladdin
    4. Pocahontas
    5. The Little Mermaid

The Jeffrey Katzenberg era was the golden age of Disney. Yes, Pocahontas technically came out after his departure, but the majority of the film was created under his guidance.

Pretty much this list, though I'd swap The Little Mermaid and The Lion King (though I might have to put Mulan tied with The Lion King). I consider this the "Menken/Ashman" era-ish (since three of those were before Ashman died, and I consider them the best composing duo EVAAAR).

I'm guessing we're leaving out Pixar and live actions?

    1. Alice in Wonderland
    2. Lilo & Stitch
    3. Aladdin
    4. My Neighbor Totoro
    5. Princess & the Frog

If we ARE counting Pixar & live actions...
    1. Star Wars IV
    2. Star Wars V
    3. Star Wars VI
    4. Toy Story
    5. Toy Story 3

Although if Disney had not purchased the Star Wars series it'd be...

    1. Toy Story
    2. Toy Story 3
    3. Toy Story 2
    4. The Incredibles
    5. Monster's Inc.

That's because he's pretty much lion-Snape. (I love Scar, too. ARE WE EVEN SURPRISED BY THIS?)

Star Wars & Studio Ghibli films aren't Disney movies, though--they were produced, filmed, etc. all by separate studios, but ended up selling rights to Disney (in Studio Ghibli's case, to dub and release in the US).

I know that. But I feel like they count since Disney bought them. I mean, Disney bought the rights to Nightmare Before Christmas & Who Framed Roger Rabbit and people count them as Disney movies. And oh my God I left out Pirates of the Caribbean!
