Overcoming the Plateau

I have been using MFP since June and am 5lbs away from my goal weight, Yeah! But, I can’t seem to get these last pounds to come off now. Any tips on overcoming a plateau?

    I need help too! I keep gaining and losing the same 1-2 pounds (and I am nowhere near goal, but have been doing it since October). I have tried eating more, eating less, exercising (I do, everyday!), and nothing is working! I'm getting so discouraged!

    If you're staying within your calories, I'd shake things up and do a different routine. When I was at my last 10lbs I was at a plateau for 2 months, I changed up my exercise routine and started challenging myself again, and boom, off went last lbs I needed to lose. I think when you're doing the same thing over and over you aren't pushing yourself and challenging yourself. Your body gets use to it and it's just easier to do. Mix it up, see if that helps.
