Dad trying to lose at least 60 pounds

I am 55 years old with my original wife and 5 daughters. I am trying to lose at least 60 pounds (maybe more), but I'll take it as it comes. Love to talk with others who are in the same position or just want to be supportive.

    I have sore knees too, and had swelling at the ankles, exercise really helps. 56y, working on 65lb loss... Cardio (Elliptical) + Weight Training with Active recovery. It takes a while but they are 50% better than they were 3 months ago. I sometimes put a heating pad between then in the evening while watching TV or Reading (tendons do not get a lot of blood supply so heat helps. If you have swelling though, use ice). I do balance exercises to increase the knee joint strength. I also take a coated aspirin twice a day. Get up and get moving :bigsmile: Swimming is also good as it has a low impact on joints.
