Let's talk about boobs

I lost weight once before and mine stayed right where they belonged without losing size. A few years later and things have changed! They are slowly getting smaller, which I am happy about. I'm in the DDD club and happy that I'll be downsizing, but definitely not happy with where they're hanging out these days. I have always known that they would sag, I just never guessed that it would happen so suddenly in my mid 20s.0
-
Im 38DD and have been strength training while losing weight. I have noticed a difference with more rounded, perky boobs with chest presses.0
-
Thank GOD full 36D even when was at my lowest weight of 116! I love me tatas!0
-
Mine have always been small (granted, I never really lost or gained much weight). Never liked them. Buuuut.... I am getting new boobies one week from tomorrow!0
-
I've gone from a 36FF down to a 30DD. They've gotten a little saggier but I didn't do any exercises that worked the pectoral muscles during the majority of my weight loss. I've started and they're perking up a little but they're not going to be where they used to be0

*note to self* When and if I have children....don't breastfeed.
Im sorry, i cant help but defend your unborn child/children on this one!!! Being able to breastfeed is a gift, dont let vanity get in the way of that.
Coming from someone who struggled with 10+ years of infertility and adopted, I WISH it was something I could have done.
As one who was able to breast feed and one who has three sisters who were unable to breast feed for long or at all, it happens either way. And the non breast feeding is a lot more complicated for baby n mommy(constipation and possible tummy issues till ya find the right formula, and mommy doesn't get the weight loss boost ) j/s
And for clarity, I am not bashing anyone who was unable to breast feed, I sympathize, I'm just saying that vanity's not worth what you're giving up. In my unprofessional, personal opinion.
@ the OP I hope mine shrink some... they haven't yet, but I'm creeping out of my DD and it's really not doing it for me, hard enough finding 36DD not wanting to get a smaller number n not have the size decrease. : / Thanks for the post anyways.0 -
i'm here for the boobs0

I've gone from a 36FF down to a 30DD.
This makes me happy.
I really want mine to be smaller.0 -
I went from a C to a B. Frankly, I'm happy being a B or smaller... Hope they perk up as I up my lifting routines as I'm getting down to the last 20. I'm not gonna worry about it too much though... just happy being able to fit into smaller size clothes and be bikini ready by the summer.0

haha - we all are ;P

Mine are 38DD - my cup size stays the same and I have been a D cup since I was a teenager *egads*. I expect to go back to a 34D like I was before I gained weight from having kids.
Breastfeeding (2 kids for 2 years each) in my experience, did not change my boobs at all, except they got leaky and I had to wear nipple pads so I looked like I had giant, protruding areolae when I wore t-shirts LOL...and I agree with the fact that BFing is not for everyone.0 -
Well, I've never been large breasted and I'm a very petite gal so it wouldn't look good on me. Before my son I was a 34 B, while nursing I was a 42 C or D (sorry it's been 22 years) and yeah, I gained a little weight.
I lost all weight gained during pregnancy (couldn't tell you what that was); then gained some back, then lost, you know the yo-yo thing. I finally got "real" at age 38 and lost 35 lbs. I really toned up and my boobs are back to a 34 B and perky. Yes, push ups (regular, incline, & decline), Incline, Decline and regular chest press and flies all help; this produces a natural "bra"; natural lift to your boobs.
And yes, Victoria's Secret also helps0 -

AHEM! I am not against women that breast feed and I do not chastise them for their choices, so why do women who breast feed or think you should breast feed feel they have every right to shove it down peoples throats that the only GOOD option is that of breast feeding? That by not breast feeding you are not helping your child, your are in fact hurting your child.
I was not breast fed, I have had no major illnesses, no asthma, nothing genetic, and my mother smoked through her pregnancy. (I do not agree with her choice, but i cannot deny that her babies are healthy.. My brothers are both tall, lean, and without any physical complications as well.) By the way I have only had one case of the flu since the age of 10, and it was when I started working in nursing. Then I only had it ONCE.
My son, he's ten, he wasn't breast fed. He is 110% for growth, and has the physique of a little man already. He is 100% healthy, if not healthier then MANY breast fed babies.
My daughter is seven weeks, I didn't breast feed and I am tired of people preaching to me about how I should have. She is also in higher level of growth, right now 120%. My fiance is an advocate for me telling people who say "OMGZ you didn't breast feed? YOUR GF IS THE DEVIL!" I had "centering" during my pregnancy, and when they asked me why I wasn't breast feeding (because they also tried to make me feel like the evil uncaring mother-to-be as well) I said
I don't want to go back to work and have to run to a sink to let my boobs down. I don't want to be the only one able to take care of my daughter, I don't want to have to pump every two or four hours a day. I didn't buy implants to watch my body stretch beyond the level of recognition and leave me with "bottle boobies" after only four years of having them. I don't want to deal with mastitis. I don't want to be like my mother was who tried breast feeding and ended up with a gassy baby, who would have had to be on a special very expensive diet just to breast feed. I don't want to find out my daughter will only drink from the nipple because then what do I do when I go back to work? I have already spent 40 weeks unable to drink, unable to eat certain foods, and unable to be away from my daughter, I love her and do not feel like opting for formula makes me less of a mom. (Yes I realize you can drink alcohol as long as you wait a few hours and pump).
You know what they said? "I see you've thought this through"
MY VANITY? PFFT MY BODY. MY BABY. How dare someone tell me what to do with my body, and what is good for my baby. Sorry you didn't have the chance to be given the option, but do not force your choice down other peoples throats. That's as bad as saying abortion isn't the right of the mother, isn't a right at all, or is ONLY the right of the mother. See what I mean?
*steps off soap box*
Now for boobs. I was a full b small c before baby number one. A not so full b after, and went to "nipples on a rib cage" when I lost weight and worked out. I did the push up bras and everything and they did help, but in 2008 I bought myself a set and would never go back. I am now a 32D and when I weigh more am a 32DD.
After baby number two they are still very nice, not as perfect as they were, they actually look much more natural now my fiance says. So that's cool. I would never go back and change my mind, and am very happy with my decisions.
Good for you! I am glad someone has had the courage to take the counterposition.
Thank you !! sometimes people forget there are other sides to situation.0 -
Anyone lose cup but not band?
I lost 65 pounds a couple of years go and went from a solid 40 C to a 40B, which might I add is impossible to find! Now I gained weight and I'm a 42B. =/0 -
Wanted to add that such exercises as bench press and push ups worked like magic on perking my boobs up even with implants which I have had for ten years, they will still sag when I stop lifting. They perk when I lift again then when i stop again, they sag.0
-
I'll just throw this out there...whether you breastfeed or not, it won't make your boobs saggy. Pregnancy is what causes the problem. Breastfeed, or don't, they will still be hanging at your knees in a few years, sorry0

BRAVO!!!!!! I could not have said it better myself! I applaude you for standing up t the breastfeedign pushers! I also refused to breast feed and my 10 yr old is the healthiest in her class.
I am 42 and starting to sag a bit I will start that lifting now that I know it will help. Thanks all for the sharing!0 -
Mine were Ds while nursing. I think they are cute now. Weight lifting helps, it has also given me peck cleavage when can be mistaken for real boob cleavage....
ETA: I didn't read the replies that turned this into a breast feeding vs. not post. Yeah....0 -
Oh man! I'm still lactating and I don't know, but the same will prob happen to me when I stop. I'm just going to bench press to push up whatever I got forward. LOL! If that doesn't work, then ****, I'll get a boob job.
ETA: LOL, yeah I skipped ahead, too. This became a debate? Sheesh.0 -
...No men allowed.
oh yeah, cuz that'll work.
just broke in ...
oh and to the comment about 36 DD being "ok" 36 DD is marvelous in my book...0 -
....even when I was fat I didn't have boobs to speak of. lost the weight and was a 34-A, so I spent $8,000 of my ex-husband's money and now have an amazing set of 34-DD's  I highly recommend it! The spending of the ex-husband's money, that is!0
-
Have gone from a 40 DDD to a 36 DD and so far they seem to be ok...I use a lot of lotion all over to prevent lose skin - in the morning after I shower and before I go to bed. Palmers cocoa butter is the best.0

36G lost 34lbs and now a 34F.
I don't have children so have not nursed. They are actually pretty perky considering their size on someone who is 5'3" and 134lbs.
I would really like a breast reduction though, they stop me from wearing certain cloths and make me look a lot bigger than I am despite them being perky/wearing good quality bras.
Once I lose my final 10lbs, if I am not happy with their size I am gong to go down the surgery route.0 -

Ya I wasn't breastfed, nor was my brother, or either of my sons....... they were both early by c-section so went onto formula. I know that breastmilk has antibodies and all that......... but that doesn't mean it's the ONLY option. I was actually a month late, but my mom decided not to breastfeed because she didn't want me hanging from her boobs 24/7, Eh, whatever, I'm still alive to talk about it! :laugh:0 -

haha, I started off as a 34A too! no boob-loss yet (and hopefully never!) because there's no where to go from here other than flat... :noway: :sad:0 -
I went from 38C to 34B after I lost 50 pounds, they are saggy0

Chest presses make a difference. Building muscle is almost as awesome as an underwire bra.
I read about those also! I will begin to implement those tomorrow! Thanks!
Please work other muscles, like shoulders and back and not just bench presses!!0 -
I got this wrap for my post pregnant stomach that has been working to shrink the skin... I have heard other women say that it works on the twins too... but I haven't tried it yet.
Ultimate body applicator
I have been noticing the skin on my stomach shrinking down... but It only works if you excercise. I wonder if using it on the "fun bags" will work if combined with chest exercises0 -

The Defining Gel helps... Also - to the chick that was talking about taking fat from thighs and putting it in to the tits - they really CAN do that?! Psh what am I working out for?!
So far with 10 pounds lost my girls are still Ds.. but I refuse to lose too much if those are gonna disappear. After 2 kiddos I just got them and like to keep them please and thank you0
