With dedication.
Why does everyone gang up on the people who want to lose weight fast?
Does ANYONE honestly want to lose it slow? No. So stop playing the bully, when you were
Bigger you asked im sure you asked the same questions and expected quick results.
To the people who want to lose 50-90 pounds fast, I've done it. From July 2011
Until about mid October/early November 2011 I went from almost 280 pounds down to
Between 185-195ish. Was it easy? No. I was at the gym every single day, every chance I got,
Walking on the hamsterwheel and getting my Michael Jordan on(the fat white version). But I was dedicated.
I DID stick to a 1200 calorie diet every single day, rarely going over that mark and guess what? No plateau.
But I was also at the gym 2,sometimes 3 hours a day. And sitting in the sauna every single day just so I could feel like I was losing more weight. I lost the weight probably not the right way at all,it became obsessive and an addiction that focused
Too much on myself. It was the wrong way and I don't think anyone should lose weight fast because mentally
It can cause problems, emotionally it can break you the second you pick up a French dry or a candy bar which most likely
Starts a downhill spiral effect that you won't like. So can you do it? Lose weight like you're competing on the biggest loser, posting ridiculous numbers? Yes, but its not worth it. Trust me. Go slow, deal with food problems/addictions rather than amplifying the problem and learn how to eat, learn how to be healthy, learn how to enjoy food in a reasonable manner instead of
Torturing yourself and your body by limiting the nutrients it NEEDS. Food never goes away,we need it to survive and that's the hardest thing for some food addicts/overweight people to realize. Enjoy food for what it is,accept yourself for who you are(beautiful no matter what a scale says),and this is a life long goal to be healthy NOT a 6 month fix.
Be the turtle not the rabbit

Im sure this is meant to be a positive and inspirational thread but I don't get the contradictory bit at the start where you say you dont understand why people gang up on people who want to lose fast then your story involves you losing weight fast then telling people that they should lose slowly
Anyone can still lose weight fast without becoming obsessive. The only thing is sticking to the deficit, there's no need for exercise or saunas though that's sounds pretty good tbh.
I lost 30 lbs in 12 weeks at 1200, it was a great experience. Gave me a real boost in self esteem and learnt new ways to cook, and realised I was eating far too much junk in my life. As soon as I finished I switched straight back to TDEE and continued maintaining eating in moderation and wider range of food.
The negative thing about large deficits is triggering eating disorders on those that find it hard switching back to maintaince and losing more muscle with the fat that would have been less at a smaller deficit.0
