Food Diary friends

OK, I have a couple of friends on my list, but I would like a more varied idea of what people are eating daily to lose weight. I love checking food diaries to get ideas, and sharing my own ideas too. So friend me, and we can share food diaries. =)

The recipes are great, but I like to see honest, day to day food intake to get an idea how to live another lifestyle. Eating out, eating in, etc.

I sent you a friend request. I am trying to stay away from processed foods. I make my own soups and that is my staple for lunch. I love to cook, I just need to take the time. Good luck on you journey.
  • Hi! I am also interesting how other people balance life with real-world food intake. I am happy to share my logs! Happy to offer encouragement along the way too.

Question. I've noticed that people are able to change their meal selections. In other words, mine says Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snack. But I have seen variations of that. How do I change mine around? I actually try to have 6 small meals a day. Or three moderate, and two snacks...depending on the day.

My diary is public, so have a look. My husband works from home and is able to cook dinner on weeknights - I take the weekends. We never eat out (I mean maybe 2-3 times a year other than vacations) and so are able to stick to our clean/paleo/mediterranean type diet. We've eliminated almost all processed foods and refined sugar. DH adds rice to some meals, but I'm limiting grains. We concentrate on fresh vegetables, grilled meats and fruits for snacks.

To change your Diary lists, go to Settings on the very top of the page and choose Diary Settings. You can change the macros that you see as well as the names of your "meals". Good Luck!

Hi, My diary is open - feel free to check it out. I seldom eat out and I do all the cooking for the animals and my 3 adult children who live with me. I'm ancient (almost 78) and have lots of time to cook (which I really love). Have tried many suggestions form the message board recipe section. Seldom do I encounter a "flop". Have developed a taste for hummus, and roasted veggies in the past year. Lately I seem to be craving more sweet items and again MFP has provided inspiration and recipes that have met with approval (mini pumpkin cupcakes 47 cal each). Good luck on your search.
