New Rules of Lifting for Women vs for Abs?

Okay, so I saw all the rave reviews about new rules of lifting for women and i bought the book and I've done stage 1, I wasn't following it correctly, and did stage 1 too long, so I'll move on to stage 2 and move through for the correct amount of time But like i have pretty muscular arms and shoulders and legs, I mostly want to work on back and abs and inner thighs, so will NROL4W do this for me, or would the one for abs work better....anyone tried both? or tried the abs one cause I haven't seen much on it

also though I have weak wrists and when I do planks of any kind, but especially side ones, or anything that really needs you to be like on your arms a lot will hurt a lot, so if NROL4A has a lot of those that wouldn't be good...anyone know?

Stronglifts 5x5 for Women--this the name of a Group devoted to everything lifting.
    It's a great resource!

Since you have the NROL book already, www.jpfitness.com is ran and monitored by Lou Schuler, the NROL author, and has a separate sub-board for each of his NROL books. Maybe a quick peek over there could help.

Stronglifts 5x5 is a different program (a great program) and yes there is a Stronglifts 5x5 group for women here on MFP. There is a NROL4W group as well. Join it and ask there.

Stage 2 has squats and deadlifts. Yes, this will work the muscles in your back, abs, and legs to a sufficient degree.

I did the Women's book last summer & into fall. Then I moved on to the Abs book (only 3 more workouts). The workouts are full body in both books. The Abs book has more unbalanced exercises so you work your core more by challenging it to hold you upright. I've had great results with both books. I would probably finish the Women's book as you had already started. Then move on to what ever interests you next.
