carbtastrophy

i need help. ive gone carb crazy. i have been under 300 carbs in 2 weeks and im steadily gaining. can someone help scare me into eating less carbs or add me and keep me accountable? im so lost!

    If you're tracking what you eat, you should have a good idea of what exactly the problem is. I'm guessing with that amount of carbs you're not meeting your protein and/or fat goals, right? If not, that's a huge part of your problem because protein and fat provide satiety--that feeling of fullness and satisfaction that turns off hunger signals. If you're carbing out and not eating enough protein and/or fat, you're probably never going to feel satiated, which is why you eat more. Perhaps focus on hitting your protein and fat macros and the carbs will take care of themselves that way...?

    I just looked at your diary and you are eating too much process foods and they are loaded with carbs. You have to try to make healthy choices. For me, when I eat sugary/carb-high foods I crave them more and more the cycle continues. After that you start thinking that you have messed up so you continue with that path.
