CPM ?? Same as MPH ??

Have a walking / running app . It says my CPM and I am curious if that is same as MPH ? It's 5.5 whatever tht means ?? Help!

    In advertising it means cost per thousand, but I'm not sure here! LOL Maybe calories per mile? Doesn't seem like a lot for that though.

    Ok so that was probably 5.5 then walking ?? I jut don't want to give myself too many extra calories burned

    5.5 is about an 11 min mile, so I think it's just another way of saying MPH

    then that doesn't quite make sense, you would have been going ~ 3 MPH or ~ 20:00 pace.

    5.5 MPH is running, most people can't walk that fast

    either way, good job getting out there!

    It's calories per minute. IE: 5.5 * 60 = 330 per hour
