I've been doing the loose 20 pounds, gain it back thing for years now (I really want this to be the last time). So I'm used to how my body typically looses that weight. This is odd though. I've only lost 7lbs, but that equates to about 3.5 inches in my waist, and nothing anywhere else. I went bra shopping yesterday (needed a specific color for a dress, for a wedding) and my usual size (which I have measured yearly) just didn't feel right. So I decided to get measured and I've increased a cup size!!!! This is usually a place where I notice a shrinking not gaining. Anyone else had this issue?

Oh and before anyone asks, no I am not pregnant.

I lost 45 lbs on a previous diet (which I obviously didn't keep off) - BUT, I gained a bra size at first also. It was weird, the person doing my measuring (a diet clinic) says that happens sometimes, especially since I was working out and using weights. I built muscles etc... It was a nice problem to have. but as I continued to loose weight I went down two sizes.

Hopefully this is the last time to go through the diet process...... must be a life style change.........

Good Question, I actually had that happen to me when I was taking Allie. I lost 35 lbs and I went from a C Cup to a D Cup. But I will say that since I have stopped taking it, I gained back some of the weight but my cup size went back down to a C so Not sure if that will happen to you as well. Do you not want a bigger cup size? Or was this just a surprise? I ask bc some women are large already and dont want them bigger

this happens 2 me. when i was 248lbs i was a 42C i had gotten down to 199lbs and i was a 36DDD. it's because ur chest wall decreases in size but ur breasts actually stayed the same. it's common for some women. i'm not lookin forward to it myself b/c when i get down 2 my goal weight of 160 i don't wanna b a size "F" LOL.

    but that's all it was.

decrease of chest wall but the breasts stayed the same so therefore it seems like a larger size.

Have you been doing chest exercises to make your breasts perkier and thus an increase in cup size?

I only do the elliptical machine and walking as exercise, and I gained a cup size at first also from the arm handles on the elliptical. I think they are finally going back down though, thank g-d!

I actually have only been doing a lot of walking thus far. I need to add in strength training, but wanted some endurance before I did.

My chest measurement hasn't changed one bit. I was a 38C, now I'm measuring at 38D. Proportionally, I am actually rather happy with my size. Though I think at 60lbs lighter they may be a bit to large (my husband would weep at that).

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that has experienced this though. Guess I have one more thing to add to my "new me" wardrobe shopping list.

YOur cup size is determined by the difference between the circumference under boobs and circumference around your boobs. If you lose weight around your middle then the difference is greater and hence you go up a cup size.

    I have gone from a 38B to a 30F! but I still only have a handful!

Hey I need your trick! I thought that when you gained weight, you'd get bigger boobs, I never did. I went from a 38B to a 42B. Grrr. Maybe when I get more of this off, I'll end up like you! (I've always wanted a bigger cup)

Random thought popped in my head, I recall a friend of mine who went on the birthcontrol patch, caused her boobs to get bigger. Just a thought. Silly stuff like that can happen too. But hey, I'd take bigger boobs any way!

when i lost my 50lbs abt 2yrs ago i wasn't on any bc & i went from a size c to a size DDD. i think it just depends on the persons body type. i'm an hourglass figure. so that might have somethin 2 do with it.
