Using my brain cells makes me hungry

According to my personal experience, thinking is making me fat. This is very concerning as there are many activities that require thinking that I'm afraid I'll have to now give up. However, that opens the door to other activites that I can do instead.

Have you experienced anything similar? How did you handle this? Ideally, I'd like to find a formula that will calculate my Total Daily Thinking Expenditure and also the Basal Thinking Rate required for daily functioning, and find a number in between that will allow me to do at least some thinking without getting too hungry. Although I'm really ready to give it up altogether because a little thinking seems to lead to more thinking and before you know it, you've binged on thinking and then the whole day is ruined!

Thanks in advance for your help.
