some salads that i buy they actually varie in serving sizes....like first salad i bought measure out 2 cups and its 170 calories
the salad i bought today measures 1 1/2 cups and its 20 calories

now i understand that 4 oz of veggies is one serving of veggies...so i'm wanting to know with the salad the 2 cups can i count that as 4 servings of veggies i had?? and the 1 1/2 cups thats 3 servings of veggies?? or how do i count that of how many servings i had??

Most vegetables 1/2 cup = 1 serving of vegetables. For leafy vegetables like lettuce 1 cup = 1 serving.

So... assuming your salad had quite a bit of lettuce I'd count it as 2-3 servings of vegetables (1 cup lettuce, 1 cup vegetables or 1 cup lettuce, 1/2 cup vegetables).

120 calories sounds high for a 2 cup salad without dressing -- did it have cheese, nuts or something else in it to up the calories?

Ah... well, sunflower seeds and raisins are good calories and good fat! :) Sounds like a great salad!
