TDEE/BodyMedia/Deficit

My TDEE is roughly 2600 and that is pretty inline with my BodyMedia (at least during the week). If I do the suggested 20% reduction that would leave me with 2080 calories. Is that the number I should try to net daily for consumption? I have been eating around 1500 total not net and realize this is not smart nor healthy but have also not seen much movement on the scale or measurements in almost a month so I am willing to try it.
Thanks for any advice or help!

I try to go for a 1,000 calorie defecit with my bodymedia link instead of a percentage. I don't know which way is better, and I'm still trying to adjust for my calories late in the evening...0

If you are eating based on TDEE-20% you would go by consumption not NET. You would only eat back calories burned if your NET drops below your BMR. otherwise just eat your goal.0

I'm actually having a similar issue so I'm posting to follow along.
I have a BodyMedia Fit armband too, and it's adjusting my MFP deficit. During the week I'm averaging a 2300 daily calorie burn and a 500 calorie deficit, but my weight loss has stalled too.
I've become convinced that MFP is lying to me when it says I'll weigh X in Y# of weeks. Because you know what? It's been Y weeks and it ain't happening.0 -
I want a 1,000 deficit as well simply because I sit all day and have roughly 25 pounds of delicious cylindrical spare tire to rid myself of and would be fine with 1,600 calories. This is all so hard to understand, starting out, and I am hoping I find something that works. The 19th will be my 1 month of trying to be health conscious and I got a little excited yesterday, took my scale out of the top of the closet hoping for a surprise and saw little movement.
As far as MFP-I don't trust it anymore. I use it to log food because the database is phenomenal! It even has D'lites which is something found only in Tampa Bay so its just a nice tool but I don't plug my device in until around 9 am and it uses the 1,000 calories (plus/minus) I have burned by that time to project my entire day and the "BodyMedia Adjustment" is never accurate. It doesn't know when I am going to decide to walk home from work or take the transit. Or if I decide to walk the dog longer one particular night.0 -
At this point (for me) I just use MFP to log my food and count the calories I've consumed, and watch my calories on my bodylink and by the end of the day, try to have a 1,000 calorie deficit. I've only had mine for about 2 weeks, so I really maybe the wrong one to contribute to this thread.0

Little movement as in less than a pound? Just keep in mind that if you've lost 3-5 pounds in the past month, that's a healthy loss.0 -
Little movement as in the scale is going up. The loss I posted was me messing with MFP to do something and I forgot to delete it out. But thanks for reminding me! I started on 2-19 at one weight and here 3 weeks later I have gained a pound.0

Ok I have it figured out. I bought the display to go with my body media (have it on right now). I don't have a ton to lose so I should max deficit at 500 calories so I just reduce 500 from whatever my display says later on. I have burned 1585 so far (2:38 pm) and have consumed 1700 calories (for some reason I am starving!!!) but I intend on walking home from work (6 miles) so should be able to chow down on some steak tonight. I will come back in a few weeks and update if this has worked....and it better or I have threatened to buy a very scary lipo package of Groupon...j/k0
