If you're getting all your sugar from fruits, it shouldn't affect your weight loss at all! You can even stop "tracking" sugar if it bothers you to always see the negative. I have the same problem, and it hasn't inhibited by weight loss at all.

Natural sugars (like those in fruits and yogurt) are not bad. If you're getting sugar from those don't worry about it.

^^^Yes, sugar from fruits is natural so don't count that. Any sugar from processed foods, or anything else does count though....and sugar turns into fat. I tell myself that all the time so that I can be sure to watch my intake!

If you and your doctor are worried about your sugar intake, try eating fresh veggies in place of some of your fruit. Whole carrots, broccoli, celery, spinach, grape tomatoes, and peas are my favorite. The natural sugar from fruit was starting to upset my stomach and give me lulls in my energy. I have about one fruit serving a day along with my daily vitamins and still have no problems with my vitamin levels (I have it tested about every 3 months).

    Good luck :)
