Any one tried this?

I found it last night and it seems to be pretty spiffy. Am I being fooled. I'm going to try the free version before I purchase the Pro version.

Thanks for any input.

    MFP > Noom

I didn't like Noom, so I came back to MFP. I felt the database was too simple and its idea of what kinds of food are "healthy" can be a little ... debatable. And I don't like the color associations with my food at all, it sort of discourages moderation. It has a handy little guide to what portion sizes look like for different things

Noom's CardioTrainer was good, but I think it's really similar to RunKeeper?

I had it and agree with the above post that I didn't really like the color associations and the food database in general was annoying. Everyday it had goals for you which I thought was great but it got annoying that one of the goals everyday was inevitability to "upgrade to Pro Version". I also liked cardio trainer but now I use runtastic because it automatically updates to MFP. I also like tracking my food in MFP much better. I'm sure it comes down to personal preference, but for me, the app was just not motivation enough to get me to go after it.

It's an awesome app! Highly recommended. Be sure to get the heart rate monitor that goes with it. I found it to be my favorite for 2 years. It had settings for everything but sex. It also counts steps, but the food log is nothing like MFP. I just took the calories from the exercise and added them to MFP at the end of the day by fudging them to match.

For the exercise portion it is one of the best. I use MFP for the food log.

I use Endomondo now because I just use it for running, long walks and biking and it posts to MFP. I have actually thought of switching back because Noom was so good, and worked for more activities.

OK, I am little biased, I was so excited to use it, and like it so much, they called me to see what improvements I thought would help. They are working on them now.

I didn't really like it. The first couple of weeks while it's giving you daily tasks is fine because you might learn something, but their idea of what is "good" to eat vs "bad" is VERY simplistic, as is the food logging.
