I am FREEZING!

I just started watching what I eat a few days ago, and just joined this site today. Is anyone else having the issue that they are FREEZING when they eat less and drink more water? I know women in general tend to be colder, but this feels a bit ridiculous. Anyone have any techniques for staying warm other than just wearing several sweaters all the time? My office mate is in short sleeves and perfectly content...

I don't get that by eating differently. However, after I workout I do get very cold. Heat bags are comfy!0

It will be 90 degrees in Arizona today. Stop by.
I have days I feel colder than others and I keep a light jacket in my office. About the best you can do.0 -
Just wait until you lose a bunch of weight if you think you are cold now :laugh:0

Have you ever had your thyroid checked? Hypothyroidism causes you to feel cold... Just a thought0

I am always freezing. It's a body fat thing.
Why does a walrus stay so warm?
Oye, if only I could be a walrus.0 -
Well women actually have very very slightly higher core body temp than men, its just that skin temperature tends to be up to 3C less which gives the perception of feeling cold.
The usual issue in feeling cold is after significant body fat lost over a short period of time. I've never heard of feeling cold by just eating less and drinking more water though. Your body would still be producing the same core body temp regardless of intake, so I would say its another factor0 -
You said you're drinking more water. If you use a lot of ice, that would do it too! I drink ice water all day and just bundle up in sweaters and blankets at work. Coworker look at me like I'm crazy, but I don't care!0
