Confused! How many calories I should be eating...

to lose weight....


I have been trying to maintain a 1200 calorie diet. However yesterday I was reading more on BMR which mine is 1521 calories. So based on the calculation I found if Im sedendary (which Im not most days) I should multiply it by 1.2 to get the calories I burn just by doing nothing, so that is 1825 calories. THEN it said to lose weight eat 500 calries less then that, putting me at 1325 calories per day.

SO here is where Im confused... Should I stick with 1200 calories per day (which Im kinds stuck at my current weight for 4 weeks And I have even included at least 3 days of excersise) or do I increase to 1325 to lose weight?? Anyone with advice... Im getting frustrated at the 12lb loss mark.... I would like to loose 5 more before my next doctors appointment which is 2 weeks from today.
