Lowering Body Fat

Hey all,

I have been reading different forums and I was wondering if anyone may be able to help me get on a better path to lowering my body fat. A lot of people say "lift heavy" but I'm not exactly sure what defines that, for how long of a session etc.

I'm 5'1 and currently weigh 135lbs with 28% body fat (military body fit ratio). I would like to lose another 10lbs within 3ish months. I eat between 1400-1600 calories a day. My TDEE with a 25% cut is 1550. I workout 4-5 times a week by running anywhere between 3-5 miles, and then after my runs I spend about 20min trying to fit in a few of the following: various situps, squats, pushups, lunges, 10lb free weights and have just recently starting using a few machines at the gym to work my back and inner/outter thighs.

I can see some definition in my arms, but I just look so "soft" everywhere else. I've bumped up my protein intake and usually get 85g-125g every day. I am now only losing about 1-2lbs per month it seems.

My diary is open and I'm open to suggestions :)

Thanks!
