13lbs and seem to be stuck already!!!!!!!!!!
I do on average 400 calories on the elliptical 3 times a week (30min) and 30 min of strength training.
Do I need to do more?
I meet my caloric intake and usually have a small deficit if any.
Any advice I will take!!!

I've been stalled out for a little over a week.
This also happened to me around the same part of last month. That was followed by some good losses in rapid succession. My behavior was consistent through both periods.
This is how weight loss happens. Sometimes there is little movement for a while. Sometimes there is a sudden, substantial drop in weight. I think you should give it a bit more time.0 -
I peaked at your food diary a little... Some tips I would suggest...
1. Drink LOTS of water! Bare minimum of 8 small glasses a day. This helps flush out your system, keeps you hydrated and keeps your metabolisim going
2. Always eat breakfast! Find something healthy that you like. For me, I eat oatmeal everyday. It keeps me full in the mornings and eating something first thing in the morning starts your metabolisim burning right away instead of stalling out
3. Work more fresh fruits and veggies into your day. I try to have at least 2 fruit and veggie snacks a day plus a serving of veggies with each meal. I usually choose fresh berries like raspberries and cucumbers or sugar snap peas for snacks. They are low in calories, easy to munch on, and good for you
4. Try to cook more at home and not go out or eat processed foods as much... I didn't go very far into your diary but I did see a day where all your calories were from chick-fil-a and dunkin donuts... It's ok to have some days like this, and maybe the day I saw was an exception to your usual routine... but these processed food may be able to fit in your calories, but they are usually higher in fats and can stall out your weight loss.
Sometimes it's not just about meeting the right number of calories, but also picking the right foods to put in your body.
Or, it could be like others have said and you just need to give it a little time and the weight loss will start back up on it's own again.
Good Luck!0 -
Thanks for the tips! I will take them to heart. and do my best! I do see where I need to eat breakfast more. I do try.
Processed food... eeek. It's just so easy while at work when I don't have a lot of time. This I agree.
The dunkin donut thing, I swear I didn't eat anything from there. I couldn't find the place I actually had the bagel from so I over estimated with a bad bad scenario. lol I do replace things I can't find in MFP with things so I can have "worst case scenario" calorie counts.
When i do have to eat out (for work) I do try to make better choices. Chick-fil-a instead of Mcdonalds or fast food. Some folks have to eat on the run unfortunately because of work.
I do drink A LOT of water each day. I drink about 2 liters but don't normally click all of it.
I do eat fruit
Thank ya!0 -
Not sure how long you have been doing this. BUT... If you are lifting 3 days a week and eliptical 3 days a week, you need to eat more. Looking at your food diary, you are very low in calories/ Also, if you just started working out, you will not lose weight. Your body will retain water and start fighting you every step of the way.0

I started this in January. Believe it or not, I'm not a big fan of food. I have my moments (don't get me wrong) but I do have to make myself eat. My doctor told me to try to have a 300 to 400 cal deficit each day (when working out) I am torn between doctors orders and MFP at times.0
